Gear Packages –  We’ve developed several equipment packages to provide everything you need for a great time without the hassle.  Packages are customized for each vehicle, and generally include:

  • Tow Gear Package – Borrow our gear! We have several hitches and a portable brake controller.
  • Off-Grid Package – Extend the capabilities of your vehicle with solar, electrical, propane, and other upgrades
  • Generator Package – Gasoline generator to provide electricity to power appliances or charge the batteries.
  • Campsite Supply Drop – Includes a cooler, propane camping grill, table cloth, lantern, 4 camp chairs, and a bundle of firewood.

Premium Services –  We aim to please!  These can be added anytime before departure:

  • Delivery & Installation Services – We’ll bring the vehicle to your campsite, hook it up to available electrical, water, and sewer connections, and pick it up on your last day  (100-mile radius from Redmond WA and dependent on availability)
  • Roadside Assistance – In the unlikely event you run into trouble on the road, this service covers towing, flat tire assistance, battery jumps, a mobile mechanic, and more.  (Roadside Assistance cannot be cancelled/refunded later than 5 days before departure)

Before Your Trip

Payment Schedule – If your trip is more than 14 days out, you’ll pay a deposit at booking, and the remainder 14 days prior your departure.  If your trip is less than 14 days out, the full amount is charged at booking.

Security Deposit – A security deposit is held on each rental. The charge is held starting 2 days before your trip begins, and released back in full 7 days after your trip ends, pending no issues.

Cancellations – Cancellation policies vary based on whether you booked through Outdoorsy or us directly.  Outdoorsy policies are available here.  Bookings via our website directly allow you free cancellation if you cancel less than 48 hours after booking, and more than 14 days before departure. If you cancel more than 48 hours after booking, and more than 14 days before departure, then your deposit of 25% remains as a credit on your account with us for future travel.  If you cancel 14 or fewer days before departure, then 50% of your trip cost is refunded, 25% is paid as a cancellation fee, and 25% remains as a credit on your account with us for future travel.

Traveling Safely

Insurance – Insurance is required on every rental.  You’ll be asked to select from 3 available tiers during checkout.  All tiers provide Liability, Comprehensive, and Collision coverage for the duration of your trip.   Learn more about the tiers and coverage details here. Read the coverage conditions carefully to ensure you understand exclusions such as awnings and off-road use.

Insurance is required on every rental.  In the unlikely situation that your personal insurance company provides coverage for rental RVs, then at least 1 week prior  departure you will need to send us a binder from your insurance agency listing Boundless RV LLC as the Additional Insured and Loss Payee, along with the Year, Make, Model, and VIN of the RV.  Contact us in advance so we can help you arrange this, and please be aware an increased security deposit hold may be required as well.

Driver Requirements – Each vehicle/tow-vehicle driver must be age 25 or older and is required to complete driver verification before the rental begins. This applies to the primary driver as well as any additional identified drivers.  During checkout you’ll be asked to provide your drivers license information, which is used to complete an identity and risk assessment check.  If there are any issues you’ll be notified by email.

Safe Towing – It’s imperative that you understand the tow vehicle and trailer capabilities before hitting the road.  There are specific weight, load/balance, speed, and other requirements that must be maintained at all times.  You can read more about your trailer’s requirements in the Campers’ Guide, and your tow vehicle’s requirements in its operating manual.  All of our trailers require your tow vehicle to have an existing 2″ or larger hitch receiver and a working 7-pin electrical connection.  Some great resources to learn more include content from our Trips & Tips section and Outdoorsy.

Tow Vehicle Rentals – If you are looking for a tow vehicle, one good option is to check out Enterprise Truck rental, with several locations in our region. Be sure to select one of their tow-capable pickups (3/4 ton or higher).

Time for Vacation!

Pickup – We’ll touch base a few days before your rental starts to reserve your Pickup time.  Pickups are by-appointment between 11am and 5pm daily, and we’re happy to arrange early/late off-hour pickups whenever schedules allow at a prorated $20/hr rate.  Expect to spend 30-60 minutes looking over your newly-cleaned and fully-prepped vehicle – we’ll have a Boundless RV teammate assigned your departure to help you with anything you need!  The Pickup experience is customized to you – some people prefer a full in-person walkthrough demonstrating all vehicle features, others are familiar already and just need a quick key exchange.  Pickup is completed when you hitch up the vehicle and drive off!

Socially-Distant / Expedited Pickup –  We’ve uploaded our most common vehicle questions, answers, and walkthroughs to the Trips & Tips section of this website, including several articles about How to RV as well as links to the Camper Guide for each vehicle.  If you prefer to read about your vehicle before Pickup please feel free!  Clients who take this approach typically have very short Pickups in which we do not need to enter your rental vehicle with you. Be sure to bring your phone if you’d like to utilize the contact-free paperless key exchange process.

Winter Weather – Taking RV’s high into the mountains or to snow-covered destinations is a unique and exciting experience!  However traveling through or staying in temperatures near or below freezing require special equipment and procedures. Specifically, you’ll have to be diligent to ensure the water system doesn’t freeze, recognize some appliances/systems may not operate correctly, take care towing on icy roads, and remember to bring appropriate emergency gear for the conditions. The Campers’ Guide for each vehicle has more details.

Geographic Limitations – You’re welcome to take our vehicles anywhere within North America except Mexico.  The lower 48, Alaska, and Canada are fair game. Mexico is not permitted.  Note that insurance exclusions may limit coverage in some off-road locales.

Trip Changes on the Road – Having a blast and want a couple more days? We’re happy to modify the reservation assuming the vehicle is available, give us a shout and we’ll see what we can do. Or, if the unexpected comes up and you need to shorten a few days we’ll refund a portion of unused days per our cancellation policy.

Heading Home

Dropoff  We’ll touch base a few days before your rental ends to reserve your Return time.  Returns are by-appointment between 11am and 5pm daily, and we’re happy to arrange early/late returns whenever schedules allow. Expect to spend 15-30 minutes parking your vehicle and letting us do a quick walkthrough before you head off.

Post-Trip Fees  Additional charges may become due in certain situations, for example:

  • Late to a Pickup/Return Reservation – being late to a pickup/return appointment significantly impacts our ability to get other renters out on their vacations.  We know things come up – if you anticipate running late the best thing to do is call and see if there is anything that can be done to mitigate the issue.  If you’re more than 1 hour late to a Pickup/Return appointment, a $100 late fee will be assessed, plus any staffing costs we accrue.  In addition, if your late return delays another renter’s vacation, you’ll also be charged the full vehicle nightly rate for each 8hour period the vehicle is overdue.
  • Tank Dump – if you don’t get a chance to dump and rinse the tanks before return, no problem, we’re happy to take care of that for $50
  • Excessive Cleaning – if your RV is excessively dirty upon return, we pass on the additional labor costs at $100/hr in 1-hour increments.
  • Tolls – You’re responsible for any tolls or other vehicle fees accrued during your trip plus a credit card processing fee. Note that several highways and bridges assess tolls to the trailer in addition to the vehicle.
  • Damage – if the RV or contents are damaged you’ll be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement, plus our loss of use if we have to remove the RV from future service.

Please read your Rental Agreement for further detail about our policies.
